Help one of the most exciting clean tech companies in the world leverage the power of the social web to build a digital audience of eco-minded individuals and inspire them to perform simple green actions. In this high profile role, you will be working with Product, Sales, Technology, and Marketing and are responsible for identifying strategic opportunities that enhance our product offerings, grow membership, generate new revenue streams, and drive distribution of the Recyclebank experience online and offline. Using your deep experience in new media and technology, you will forge and cultivate relationships with key partners and take a partnership opportunity from idea to close.

You will serve as the public face of Recyclebank’s Ecosystem business to publishers, online and offline retailers, and any partner that empowers individuals to perform green actions. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

  • Develop a plan to address new market segments
  • Identify and lead strategic discussions with potential partners and manage existing partners
  • Structure and execute contracts

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES:

  • Demonstrated ability to negotiate and execute complex deals
  • Ability to communicate externally and build strong relationships with partners.
  • Listens to and considers the ideas, needs, preferences of colleagues, partners and consumers.
  • Deep understanding of the consumer internet/social media products and trends
  • Knowledge of the clean tech industry a plus.
  • Committed to making a measurable, positive difference in interactions with colleagues, partners and the community
  • Approachable, easy to engage
  • Keeps promises an insures intentions and promises are reflected in all actions

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:

  • BS or BA degree. MBA is a plus.
  • 5+ years of experience in sales or business development in a high-growth new media or technology company.
  • Experience in internet advertising, e-commerce, or other consumer-facing products, with a customer acquisition focus
