Business and Catering Services, Business Development Officer

Would you like to work with some of the UK's key vegetarian food manufacturers promoting the Vegetarian Society's income generating services?

We are looking for a full time Business Development Officer to enhance our Business and Catering Services Department, based in Altrincham Cheshire.

You will be liaising with prospective clients promoting the benefits of Vegetarian Society services which include: Vegsoc Approved product accreditation, Cordon Vert Cookery School professional training and team building days, plus venue hire of our Cordon Vert Cookery School. You will also be attending trade exhibitions and visiting prospective clients throughout the country.

As this is a sales role, we are looking for someone with excellent communication and customer care skills combined with the ability to work strict deadlines and sales targets. Good organisation skills are also very important.

The Vegetarian Society aims to be a positive employer. We operate a 35-hour week, flexible lieu-time scheme and stakeholder pension. Our headquarters is located in a converted mansion house, surrounded by private gardens, five minutes from the M56. 

Full time: 35 hrs 
Salary: £17-20,000 p.a.
