We are seeking to appoint a motivated professional to expand our Low Carbon Environmental Goods and Services (‘LCEGS’) development service. The Advisor will form part of the existing Low Carbon and Environmental Sector team and support the wider advisory team to help Small and Medium-sized companies in Greater Manchester to support companies who are operating in, or could diversify into, the low carbon and environmental goods and services (LCEGS) sector; helping them to grow their business, increase sales and employment. Elements of this role will include supporting the delivery of a series of masterclass events, contributing to the delivery of our Low Carbon Network and facilitating in the creation of a series of sector specific special interest groups. The successful candidates will have degree level business education, or degree level qualification with a Management body or the relevant business experience to match those, and a practical understanding of both the current and emerging business issues and relevant legislative and regulatory framework in relation to the LCEGS sector. They will be able to demonstrate a track record of working on ERDF and UK funded contracts and of working effectively in professional team/s.
