Building Services Technician

POSITION: Ducks Unlimited has an opening for a Building Services Technician at its National Headquarters in Memphis, Tennessee.

POSITION DESCRIPTION: Building Services Technician has responsibility for the building and grounds at DU’s National Headquarters building in Memphis, Tennessee. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

· Grounds maintenance (including irrigations systems maintenance,wetlands management, maintenance of walking trail on premises )

· General maintenance (including electrical, plumbing, heating and air conditioning, lighting, security, roofing, cleaning, painting and removal of trash)

· Vendor relationships for building and grounds maintenance vendors

· Monitoring work provided by outside vendors.

· Set up and break down of meetings and fundraising events.

· Scheduling, maintenance, and planning for 4 to 6 fleet vehicles.

· Phone installation and programming.

· Moving of stations and offices.

QUALIFICATIONS: Applicants must have: a high school diploma or its equivalent in area of specialty; relevant experience in building maintenance, with proven ability to identify needs, analyze problems, and address solutions; and familiarity with the field’s concepts, practices, and procedures.
