Our political institutions have failed us  – particularly the major parties. Enough is enough. The urgency of the climate crisis demands action from everyone. Together, we are the solution. Greenpeace Australia Pacific are bringing on a team of Organisers to deliver on our major post-election mobilisation plans. We are looking for some budding community organisers to identify, develop, grow and coordinate a base network of volunteers at lightning pace. Working under the moniker Break Free, you will help build a groundswell movement and be part of some iconic moments of climate activism.

THE IDEAL CANDIDATE  

To be successful in this role, you must possess an unwavering dedication to building people-power and a willingness to hit the phones and the streets. You will also have:

  • Experience in Identifying and developing volunteer leadership
  • Knowledge in both online and offline organising and mobilisation
  • Exceptional communication and facilitation skills
