A two year scheme where it will provide the successful candidates with the opportunity to deliver projects across a broad range of programmes designed to help:

  • Tackle Climate Change
  • Protect property and people
  • Create more sustainable communities and buildings
  • Develop and asses new materials

You will be given the opportunity to work on various projects within the BRE Group on a series of six month rotations over the two year programme in areas such as; building structures, energy modelling, resource efficiency, sustainability, fire sciences, physical and electronic security and innovation. This will provide you with an overview of the business and strong foundations to launch an exciting and rewarding career. You will each be assigned a Mentor who will help guide and advise you throughout the programme.

At the end of the two years this programme will give you solid grounding in various aspects of our business enabling you to take on a full time role and develop your career in an appropriate and suitable part of the BRE Group, which in turn will contribute towards ‘building a better world together’.


Requirements:                                        

A 2.1 degree or equivalent in the following subjects:        

Physics                                                                            

Chemistry

Geography

Architecture

Economics

Environmental Science

Material Science

Mathematics and Statistics

Civil, Structural Engineering

Electrical, Mechanical and/or Electronic Engineering

Applied Sciences

 

Person Specification:

Additional Information: 

Students studying MSc or PhD are also eligible to be considered for the programme. 

The successful candidates will be invited to attend an Assessment Day at BRE HQ in Garston, on the 14th or 15th June 2016.

 

The starting salary will be £23,000 per year with incremental increases on rotation dependent upon performance, with a potential salary of £25,000 and a promotion on completion of the two year programme.
