JOB OPPORTUNITY IN HAMPSHIRE: Branch Manager


Ref: HBM0211


Southern Solar Ltd is an expanding solar energy installation company.
We design and install solar thermal and solar electric systems for domestic, public sector and commercial clients.


Providing a high quality, professional service with an emphasis on customer satisfaction,
we are looking for an outstanding candidate to develop and operate a new branch based in Hampshire. This positive and motivated team leader will have a good practical understanding of construction, sales and renewable technologies enabling them to build, organize and co-ordinate the sales and installation team.
 

Job Description


· Build, develop and lead a new team in Hampshire
· Build domestic sales orders and establish relationships with key commercial clients
· Responsible for branch financial control and meet financial targets
· Responsible for branch Health and Safety compliance
· Responsible for branch legal compliance
· Overseeing job scheduling
· Ensuring all staff are managed and motivated to meet the company mission statement
· Ensuring compliance with Quality Management systems
· Liaising with the managing director and ensure the branch is in line with companywide policy
· Managing branch HR function
· Maintaining a business culture that is in line with Southern Solar's ethos.

EXPERIENCE


Essential
· Strong team building and leadership skills
· At least 2 years experience of management in a construction, installation or service related business.
· A proven track record in sales to domestic and/or commercial clients
· Proven ability to manage a budget


Desirable
· Practical experience of general plumbing, electrical and building works
· Knowledge of solar thermal and electric systems


SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS


Essential
· Excellent IT skills and familiarity with Microsoft Office suite
· Excellent social and communication skills
· Excellent writing and presentation skills
Desirable
· Management and leadership training
· Degree level qualification 2.2 or above
· Financial control training
· Health and Safety training
· Sales training
· CSCS supervisor card

OTHER


Essential
· Able to work a range of hours with occasional overnight stays
