Executive Assistant/Bookkeeper Equitable Origin owns an innovative stakeholder-based, voluntary certification system designed to promote higher social and environmental standards, greater transparency, and more accountability in the extractive industries. We deliver a market mechanism to drive positive change that reduces the impact of natural resource exploration and production, creates a new market for responsibly produced fuels and minerals, and empowers consumers and businesses to reward companies that commit to this new paradigm. Our value proposition grants us access to the highest levels of government, NGOs, advocacy groups, consumer brands and the extractives industry and we are focused organizationally on growing adoption of our system with industry and building a recognizable and valuable brand with consumers. We are currently expanding our team to meet these needs and look for an Executive Assistant/Bookkeeper to join mission-driven company. He or she will report to the Chief Operating Officer, support the Executive team and manage and maintain the company’s books and records. We want an individual who is self-sufficient, can manage all administrative functions for a growing company and has a dynamic skill set to tackle a diverse array of day-to-day tasks that arise. We have a number of staff based in the US with Latin American regional operations in Ecuador and Colombia. Required Qualifications The Executive Assistant/Bookkeeper will be expected to build and manage a strong administrative and record-keeping system and maintain accurate and up-to-date books and records for each of the company’s legal entities. The successful candidate will hold at least an undergraduate degree, have at least 5-7 years of combined work experience as a bookkeeper and administrative assistant and demonstrate:
