Title: Board Relations Coordinator – Development Division Reports to: Major Gifts Manager – Development Division Location: New York,NY The Rainforest Alliance is an international nonprofit organization that works to conserve biodiversity and ensure sustainable livelihoods by transforming land-use practices, business practices and consumer behavior. Based in New York City, with offices throughout the United States and worldwide, the Rainforest Alliance works with people whose livelihoods depend on the land, helping them transform the way they grow food, harvest wood and host travelers. Position Summary: The Board Relations Coordinator will work closely with the Manager and Executive Vice President in all business involving the Board of Directors, including identification, research, stewardship, cultivation and solicitation of gifts from board members and board prospects. S/he will coordinate the logistics and preparation for all board and board committee meetings and trips and recruitment of new board members. S/he will also participate in all committee meetings for the Leapfrog Campaign, the Rainforest Alliance’s five-year, $20 million fundraising campaign. Responsibilities:
