The Progressive Animal Welfare Society (PAWS), a Northwest leader in animal welfare since 1967, is seeking candidates for its board of directors. PAWS is a non-profit organization that shelters homeless animals, rehabilitates injured and orphaned wildlife, and through progressive outreach and education programs, helps people understand the intrinsic value of animal life. Experience in fundraising, finance, marketing, legal affairs, architecture & facilities planning are especially valued at this time, however, all interested parties concerned about animal welfare are encouraged to respond. Ours is an active board; board meetings are held monthly, late afternoon, near downtown Seattle. This is an unpaid position.
