Blue Marine Foundation Project Manager - Based in Jersey

Would you like to work as part of a highly impactful team managing and assisting a key project aimed at protecting Jersey’s waters and delivering a Marine Park?

We are looking for an experienced project manager who is passionate about marine conservation and comfortable with campaigning and working with a diverse range of stakeholders including fisheries, policymakers, media, stakeholders, and the public.

You will need to have at least 5 years residency in jersey and experience working in a similar role. You will possess great organisational skills and an ability to work under pressure, with strong attention to detail and excellent written/communication skills. A relevant qualification and experience of marine science, marine conservation or fisheries is also required.

The Blue Marine Foundation is responsible for the deliverables and funding for this project, but is working in partnership with The National Trust for Jersey. The role will be based at the office of The National Trust with day-to-day management and oversight by Blue Marine.

This role is a full time position working 35 hours a week Monday to Friday, and the successful candidate will be offered a two year fixed term contract, with potential for extension subject to funding.
