Department
Vestas Blades is responsible for the global production of blades for Vestas turbines. The types of blades range from 25 meter for the V52 turbine to 54.6 meter blades for the V112 turbine.
Responsibilities:
As part of the Blades Sales team, the main responsibilities will be:
support sales of new solutions/improvements related blades, like copper caps, copper stripes, washing blades, inspection, etc. for all type of blades, i.e., polyester or epoxy. Prepare and made technical offers. • Support sales of new solutions/improvements related blades, like copper caps, copper stripes, washing blades, inspection, etc. • Will be working with all type of blades (polyester or epoxy). • Support business development activities and search for business opportunities in the market • Participate in negotiations with customers • Do pre-calculation costing analysis • Drive external market benchmarks • Represent Vestas at external events and meetings including the support to the sales process, negotiations with suppliers, relations with key stakeholders, and participation at marketing or technical events in order to satisfy public administration and public opinion Qualifications: We are looking for a professional who has:
• 5 year degree in Aeronautical or Mechanical Engineering. • A minimum of 2-3 years of experience in composite materials, blades is preferable, either polyester or epoxy. • English Language • Spanish Language will be also an asset. What we offer:
