This project seeks a qualified (BA or BSc in the biological or environmental sciences) and highly motivated research assistant (RA). The project involves following social groups of critically endangered black-and-white ruffed lemurs to collect various data. The RA will be trained by and work with an experienced and very helpful local team of assistants. The RA is needed from May to November, 2013 (closing date: 23 March, 2013).
There is no cost to participate and the RA will receive in-country permits, food, and necessary in-country transportation. The RA will stay in their own tent under a fixed shelter.
