Description
This project is looking for volunteers to conduct biological field research: Andean bear monitoring; research on the critically endangered yellow-tailed woolly monkey; the Andean night monkey, ornithology studies; etc.
This is a great opportunity for students seeking field experience before applying to graduate school, undergraduate students conducting research projects, or simply those who wish to experience another culture while helping both the environment and the local community.
Volunteers will have the opportunity to learn Spanish and are welcome to help teach English to the local community.
The project costs US$350 per month which includes accommodation, three meals per day, salary for one guide, and program fee.
