Sequence is seeking an Biological Construction Monitoring Group Leader who would be charged with direction and management of projects throughout Northern California and the western United States.

The ideal individual would have 10+ years of experience designing and performing construction monitoring activities for multiple, simultaneous projects throughout California. Must have the abilities to design construction monitoring programs with clients and agency staff, supervising and dispatch environmental construction monitoring personnel and interact with clients and third party construction or engineering subcontractors.

Additional responsibilities will include leading environmental training and mentoring of entry to mid-level staff in the practice group. Must have experience in researching, writing and editing of environmental documentation with occasional contribution to biological field activities

With over thirty active and passive sites currently being managed, as well as, some very large linear projects; this is a demanding position that requires a very well organized and competent individual (someone of able abilities who is flexible and capable of multitasking and wearing many hats in a fast paced environment). The post, also has a bit of a client relationship management and light business development responsibilities, it in that much of the organizations construction monitoring business is generated through a successful and flawless history of engagements and repeat contracts.

Requires a degree in Biology, Cultural Resources or related discipline. MS degree desired. Exceptional written and verbal communication abilities required.
