Description

A Biodiversity Officer’s primary role is to ensure the Environment Agency fulfils its statutory duties under UK and European conservation legislation when undertaking a broad range of activities.

As part of our team you’ll get involved in a variety of partnership projects and habitat improvement schemes. You’ll also provide high quality biodiversity and conservation advice to a range of internal and external customers. You’ll provide consultation responses, considering the risk to the environment of Flood Management schemes and maintenance, planning applications, hydropower proposals and consents for working in rivers.
