The Job: To lead on and co-ordinate the collection and management of biodiversity information to provide an evidence base for the Trust’s conservation work. This is an interesting and challenging opportunity to work at the centre of this busy charity and develop a growing area of our work.
You: will use your knowledge and experience of wildlife recording to work with colleagues, volunteers, external specialists and local communities to collect information on the distribution of species in Kent. You will work with reserves staff to develop a monitoring programme for our reserves and employ a range of techniques and activities to collect information that will assess the success of landscape-scale conservation work for wildlife.
An excellent communicator, you will bring to the role an understanding of the natural environment and your experience of inspiring and engaging others to record species and habitats.
As a competent IT user, you will develop the Trust’s capacity to use digital technology to store and provide biodiversity information.
