Chemonics seeks a biodiversity conservation technical advisor for the anticipated USAID-funded Planning for Resilience in East Africa through Policy, Adaptation, Research, and Economic Development (PREPARED) project. PREPARED aims to strengthen the resiliency and sustainability of East African economies, transboundary freshwater ecosystems, and communities. It will target three key development challenges in the region: biodiversity conservation; sustainable access to water, sanitation, and hygiene; and climate change. The biodiversity conservation expert will spearhead all aspects of the biodiversity conservation component of the project and will assist the chief of party in managerial functions. We are looking for individuals who have a passion for making a difference in the lives of people around the world.
