Ecus has been trading for 25 years and has a reputation for excellence and client care second to none in the industry. We are looking to recruit a highly motivated consultant or senior consultant level bat specialist to support our Ecology and EIA teams.
You will have demonstrable experience of a wide range of bat survey and assessment methodologies in a variety of UK habitats and skills will include:
* a valid bat licence, preferably UK wide;
* use of in-hand and remote bat detectors;
* use of appropriate analysis software;
* a sound knowledge of nature conservation legislation;
* demonstrable experience of EPS licencing and
* design of mitigation schemes.
The successful candidate will have experience of work relating to wind farm projects and will ideally bring other skills in particular ornithology and/or general phase 1 habitat survey. You will have a sound commercial understanding and client focus with strong report writing skills and experience of contributing to EIAs and delivering EPS licencing. For the correct candidate with a skill for business development the career possibilities are excellent.
On a personal level, the successful candidate will be a self starter, well motivated with good communication skills and the ability to fit into a lively and ambitious team.
