  Greenpeace is seeking an experienced and skilled fundraiser to take on the position of Associate Frontline Street Manager in Montréal. If you are passionate about Greenpeace, an excellent fundraiser, and love leading a group of dedicated people this is the job for you.

Position: Associate Frontline Street Manager
Location: Montréal
Reports to: Frontline Manager, Montréal
Starting Annual Salary:  $ 19.59 hour, 35 hours a week

MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE (but are not limited to):

  1. Assist in recruiting, interviewing, hiring and supervising staff.  Work with the Frontline Manager to motivate staff to excel at their jobs and to maintain the program’s fundraising standard.
  2. Assist with the implementation of an effective training program, including canvassing skills, Greenpeace history and issues, and Greenpeace structure, especially through briefings.
  3. Open and test new areas on a timely basis and maintain good relations with community officials.  Implement an effect method of territory management.
  4. Regularly canvass as required and maintain a good fundraising standard.
  5. Manage paperwork related to membership services.  Report all payroll and financial information on a regular and timely basis.  Ensure policies and guidelines are followed.
  6. Involve canvass in appropriate campaigns.  Develop and maintain an information flow between the canvass and campaign staff.
  7. Other duties as required.

SKILLS REQUIRMENTS:

  1. Experience and success in street fundraising (canvassing);
  2. Strong motivational and communications skills;
  3. Work well within a team and independently;
  4. Proven judgment;
  5. Organizations skills;
  6. Strong communications skills (written and spoken);
  7. Computer skills;
  8. Understand and support Greenpeace’s goals and objectives;
