Perform emergency response and remediation work under the Company's remediation Project Manager. Coordinate and oversee soil and groundwater remediation activities at legacy sites and new discharges of petroleum which may occur at Company facilities within Florida. Serve in an on-call capacity to respond to releases that may occur during non-business hours and coordinate initial response actions to limit environmental impacts. Obtain environmental approval, licenses and permits as requested and provide technical expertise to resolve environmental matters. Must have good oral and written communication skills and be customer focused to understand and appropriately respond to clients business needs. Candidate should be familiar with the State of Florida remediation regulations contained in Ch 62-770, Ch. 62-780 and Ch. 62-777 Florida Administrative Code and soil and groundwater sampling protocols. Position requires extensive in-state travel.
Qualifications
The successful candidate should have a minimum of two or more years of professional experience and have a Bachelor's Degree in science or engineering; preferably Geology, Civil Engineering or Environmental Engineering.
