Associate Director – Cables. Hampshire, UK

My Client is a leading environmental and engineering consultancy that provides solutions to all aspects of the project lifecycle within the offshore wind industry. Through the constant delivery of highly skilled engineers they can help reduce the risk and cost of highly complex projects.

Position Overview:

The successful candidate will be responsible building up the companies business through building effective client relationships and ensuring that projects are efficient through bidding, project delivery and completion.

Responsibilities:-

• ·        Build and maintain client relationships
• ·        Ensuring relationships are maintained through effective project delivery
• ·        Strategic planning and implementation
• ·        Project and operations management
• ·        Effective account management
• ·        Overseeing  recruitment process
• ·        Coordinating training programmes for effective talent development

Education:-

• ·         Must have a strong academic background with a degree in Engineering (electrical, mechanical, and civil) or a related discipline.

Core Requirements:-

• ·        15 years experience within the offshore wind or telecoms industry
• ·        Previous experience managing complex engineering projects through bidding to completion
• ·        Experience taking a leading role in bidding and negotiating for complex engineering projects
• ·        An in depth technical understanding of offshore installation processes
• ·        Have previously secured the sales of projects in excess of £100k
• ·        Recognised project management qualification
