Job Description:
To support our growth we seek Associates to work supporting our clients and projects in our Environmental Markets line of business. Associates will contribute to and help manage the development of innovative, accurate, timely, and high quality products and services, typically working on multiple projects with all levels of staff. Associates at ICF International have an opportunity to apply their academic knowledge, gain exposure to major projects, and interact with experts and clients in the field, while also building content knowledge and consulting skills.

Qualifications

 
Responsibilities:
  • Provide advanced quantitative and economic analysis of energy markets
  • Assess and forecast compliance and allowance prices, environmental emissions, regulatory effects, fuel consumption, transmission, and future electric power and fuels prices, among other parameters
Basic Qualifications:
  • Master's degree in Economics, Mathematics, Operations Research or Engineering
  • Demonstrated quantitative skills
  • Strong modeling skills
  • Advanced Microsoft Office (Excel and Access) skills
  • Strong interest in economics/finance and the energy industry
  • Minimum GPA of 3.0
Preferred Skills/Experience:
  • GPA of 3.2 or higher
  • Knowledge of linear optimization and environmental markets
Professional Skills:
  • Excellent written and oral communications skills
  • Computer proficiency
  • Strong organizational skills
  • Detail-oriented
  • Ability to prioritize and multi-task
  • Ability to work under strict deadlines in a fast-paced environment
