Assistant Stockperson

35 hours per week on a rolling 5 day rota including weekends plus on-call

SWT manages its estate of 8,000ha for conservation, education and biodiversity and provides safe public access to its land holding.

The Trust is seeking an enthusiastic, practical, flexible and highly motivated person to assist the Farm Manager and stockmen in the care of over 350 cattle, 20 goats, 160 red deer and a flock of 70 sheep. The livestock graze over 3,500ha of the county and are in full breeding herds.

Pond Farm is not readily accessible via public transport so the ability to drive and access to a vehicle is essential although suitable SWT work vehicles will be available.
