Assistant Programme Officer

Protected Areas Programme

Salary depending on skills and experience

Two year fixed term

We are looking for an organised and efficient Assistant Programme Officer to work in the Protected Areas Programme team at UNEP-WCMC. The main purpose of the job is to provide administrative, organisational and technical support to the implementation of a range of protected area projects.

Working with colleagues in the programme, you will assist projects by compiling administrative and financial reports, organising meetings and liaising with partners. You will also provide technical support by reviewing scientific and policy literature, organising data input to databases and drafting reports.

This role offers the opportunity to contribute to high profile portfolio of projects and will particularly suit individuals who are great team players with a ‘can do’ attitude, have a passion for conservation and the ability to adapt effectively to changing situations.  This could be a fantastic career move to contribute to a global agenda within a role that will stretch and challenge you.
