E-Serve is the delivery arm of Ofgem, the regulator of Britain’s gas and electricity markets, and is helping to shape the future of the energy market – delivering better energy efficiency through renewable energy sources, and protecting the interests of energy consumers. Providing assistance on policy issues, you will be part of a progressive team where you can develop your project delivery skills quickly. You will work closely with a wide range of stakeholders, helping to implement legislative amendments, policy changes and updated processes to support the efficient management of schemes. Organised, collaborative and interested in how government legislation affects the energy sector, you will ensure that developments run smoothly, projects are delivered effectively, and that stakeholder communication is clear at every step.

You must be either a graduate in a relevant discipline or have equivalent professional experience and, ideally, already hold a good understanding of policy development and/or implementation. You will also have the analytical skills to evaluate complex information, identify insights and present recommendations, supported by excellent writing and drafting skills. Effective stakeholder management skills are essential, with the ability to manage different priorities and deliver against challenging deadlines. Knowledge of renewable energy and energy efficient technologies and schemes is highly desirable.
