Gardline Environmental Ltd (GEL) is a member of the Gardline Marine Sciences Limited Group of Companies and are a successful Environmental contractor, operating a fleet of inshore boats, conducting major integrated offshore projects on a worldwide basis and inshore projects for major clients in the UK and overseas. As GEL's Marine Wildlife Department continues its expansion we are seeking to add to the diverse team and expertise. The candidate(s) will be a part of the Acoustic Team and expected to assist in maintenance, construction and coordination of acoustic equipment including PAMS and noise monitoring systems. Duties will also include PAT testing, dispatch and receipt of equipment, vessel mobilisations of acoustic equipment, and providing technical support to offshore equipment operators. This role will be based from our Great Yarmouth head offices and will require some travel. Candidates will possess a formal engineering qualification (BTEC or equivalent) and be able to demonstrate computer competence. Preferably candidates will have experience of acoustic equipment and working on vessels, as well as possessing a forklift and drivers license. An understanding of marine acoustics, and marine mammal vocalisations will be an advantage.
