Assistant Manager – Renewable Heat Incentive, Generation
The Renewable Heat Incentive (RHI) is a Government policy designed to increase the uptake of renewable technologies used for heating. This is a ground-breaking scheme that will help the UK reduce carbon emissions and hit its EU renewable energy targets.
Ofgem plays a key role as the administrator of the scheme. This includes the assessment of a large volume of applications to verify eligibility, authorising payments to participants, and handling enquiries from current and potential participants.
The purpose of this role is to assist the Generation Managers on issues related to large volumes of generator applications and periodic data submissions under the RHI.
