TheOpportunity

Reporting to the Land Agent, you will be responsible for the development of our wind energy projects in the UK. You will search and secure land rights for potential wind energy sites. You will co-ordinate, negotiate and assist with the land and legal activities associated with the progression of the company’s wind interests in the UK, including negotiating the financial and legal terms for options/ leases for site, access & grid routes.
Working within the development team, you will provide expert advice and service to natural power staff and clients. The land agency role is a key part of the process for the development of a wind project. You will work in a team which will provide opportunities to be involved with the management of consultants and to , coordinate and write EIA’s, assist with community consultation, and liaise and negotiate with the external stakeholders.
 

Knowledge&experience

Ideally you will have experience with the development of land in a rural environment and/or be familiar with the use of option and lease agreements. You will be an accomplished negotiator with a creative mind for finding innovative solutions to complex problems. Experience in the wind industry would be advantageous.

You will be a highly motivated individual who can work both unsupervised and as part of a team with the ability to be very flexible whilst adhering to strict deadlines. You will have effective communicate skills. You will have very good IT skills and carry a full UK driving licence and be able to maintain a reasonable level of personal fitness.
