Background:WTI is looking to recruit an Assistant Field Officer/Field Officer for the Greater Manas Conservation Project.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Post release monitoring of animals released in Greater Manas
  • Document incidents of human wildlife conflict in & around Manas National park
  • Monitoring of outreach projects implemented as part of the Greater Manas Conservation Project in the field
  • Identifying & developing new projects for outreach support

Skills:

  • A strong inclination or passion for wildlife
  • Willingness to learn, work long hours if required
  • Good communication skills

Qualifications:MSc in Life Sciences (Wildlife/Forestry/Zoology/Botany/Environment)

Preferable experience:2-3 years of experience in the field of conservation
