Assistant Environment Engineer / Planner

Due to continued growth and development, an exciting opportunity has arisen for focussed and driven assistant environmental engineers/planner to join our fast paced environment team in our Bucharest office.

The principal function of this role is to provide technical support and assistance to the environment team in project delivery and business development.

Priorities in this role include:

• assisting colleagues in the delivery of projects and business development activities
• field work for surveys and other data collection
• supervision of technicians
• data analysis and review
• technical report preparation
• general liaison activities between other team specialists

Ideal candidates would likely possess a first degree in environmental science, engineering or related earth science, or an equivalent qualification and in addition; be able to demonstrate the following skills and experience:

• good computer skills with a comprehensive knowledge of Microsoft Office packages such as Word, Excel and PowerPoint
• evidence of a good technical knowledge in chosen main subject with a broader knowledge and understanding of major environmental issues
• good communication skills with the ability to work with external and internal personnel at all levels of seniority
• fluency in Romanian language skills both written and verbal
