Description

We are seeking an Assistant Ecologist to join our York office to help deliver a range of projects in a variety of sectors throughout the UK. Your personal and communication skills, as well as your willingness to learn new skills and develop a career in consultancy, are extremely important to us. We expect you to have a high level of attention to detail and a commitment to producing high-quality written work. Experience of environmental consultancy and field work (including both habitat and protected species surveys) in the UK would be an advantage, although training would be provided for you to fulfil your role.

Confidence to work unsupervised in the outdoors is expected, as is an ability to work seamlessly with your colleagues in the ecology team and from other disciplines.
