SANBI requires a highly committed, self motivated person to support the development of biodiversity products and tools, and contribute to the integration of biodiversity priorities into land-use planning, projects and programmes.
The envisaged candidate will hold a post graduate degree (Honours or B.Tech) in science, humanities or land-use planning enhanced by 5 - 10 years relevant experience, as well as project management skills. The incumbent is required to have excellent skills in both organizational and coordination functions and to be equipped with excellent writing, presentation and communication skills as well as proficiency in MS Office software. It would be advantageous that the successful candidate have knowledge of environmental and land-use policy, legislation and the related institutional environment in South Africa.
