About the role

This is an excellent opportunity for a high-calibre and motivated ornithologist to join our growing team for an initial period of 3 months. We are looking for a motivated individual to join the ornithology team to work as a bird and marine mammal image analyst and to help with other tasks.

You will be expected to to assist in image processing, data handling, image analysis and project work as required. Many of the images that you will have to interpret are of birds and marine mammals. An interest in wildlife and the ability to identify Britain’s common birds and / or marine mammals would be highly advantageous.

Successful applicants should preferably have a degree in biology / environmental science / remote sensing or relevant experience in bird identification or other ornithology related work. You will be self-motivated, enthusiastic and able to work to tight deadlines.
