The Nature Conservancy of Canada (NCC) is the nation’s leading not-for-profit, private land conservation organization, working to protect our most important natural areas and the species they sustain. Purpose and General Description:The Assistant, Conservation Biology (ACB) works closely with the Southwestern Ontario Coordinator, Conservation Biology (CB) to support conservation programs in the NCC subregion of Southwestern Ontario. They will contribute to the stewardship, management and administration of NCC properties throughout Southwestern Ontario. NCC currently owns and manages over 3,000 ha (7,400 ac) in southern Ontario including sites at Pelee Island, Niagara, Long Point and Port Franks. Duties and Responsibilities:1. Manage NCC Properties (70%)
2. Community and Partnership Liaison (10%)
3. Other (20%)
