We have an exciting opportunity at Fingringhoe Wick Nature Discovery Site for an Assistant Centre Manager.

The successful applicant will work 22.5 hours (3 days) per week across 7 days (including alternate weekends) between the hours of 8am-6pm.

Responsibilities include:

  • Assisting the Site Manager with the day to day running of a busy centre including supporting and managing a team of volunteers.
  • Providing a warm welcome for our visitors.
  • Helping to create, organise and run an engaging programme of events
  • Ensuring a high quality and profitable retail offer is available at all times
  • Supporting a high quality catering offer, to maximise the customer experience.
  • Stepping into a duty manager role in the absence of a Site Manager (days off and holidays)
  • A hands on, “can do” approach is required of you in this role.

Working Hours:          22.5 hours per week
