ENVIRONMENT CANADA: ARCTIC RESEARCH CONTRACT for Recent Graduates: Chemistry, Physics, Engineering
The Climate Research Division of the Science and Technology Branch (STB) of Environment Canada is looking for an operator for its High Arctic Air Chemistry Observatory in Alert, NU. Alert is situated on the northeastern tip of Ellesmere Island, approximately 800 km from the North Pole. It is the most northerly station in the world and is part of the World Meteorological Organization’s (WMO) Global Atmosphere Watch network. The observatory is maintained by Environment Canada, but also supports measurement programs for a number of international agencies.
