Sequence is currently seeking an Archaeologist / Cultural Resources professional to assist in managing prehistoric and historic cultural resources / anthropology projects throughout the greater northern California region. Candidates should have at least 5+ years of experience in working in the cultural resources field overseeing all aspects of technical and operational guidance to include oversight of the initiation, development, completion and review of research, cultural resource studies, field data collection / surveys, Phase I & II Assessments, and mitigation studies for compliance to CEQA/NEPA documentation projects. Individuals must have a strong understanding of technical matters in relation to CEQA/NEPA compliance, regulatory permitting, Section 106, National Historic Preservation Act, sacred lands file checks, state historic preservation and archaeological resources regulations. This is an excellent opportunity for a mid-level cultural resources professional looking to advance their career with an exceptional organization. Requires a degree in Archeology, Anthropology, Cultural Resources Management or related discipline. MS desired. Registered California Professional Archeologist a plus to consideration. Candidates must possess excellent written and verbal communication abilities, and be willing to work in the field in adverse terrain.
