Science Program Support and Facilities Managememt

Salary: $60,763 - $66,158pa

Duties: The AquariumTechnician (Animal Husbandry) will maintain live cultures of microalgae, Antarctic krill and other Antarctic marine animals and will assist with the setup and maintenance of aquarium equipment and laboratories. The technician will assist in a range of routine laboratory tasks including the preparation and chemical analysis of biological and environmental samples. The Technician will participate in field work in Antarctic regions and will provide support to other approved project work as required.
