Epping Forest is London and Essex's largest open space and it's one of Britain's most precious wood pasture landscapes. It was acquired 134 years ago, at the birth of the public access and conservation movement, for the public good by the City of London. We are seeking to recruit 3 Apprentice Conservation Arborists to assist in the management and treatment of our veteran trees, on a one year Apprenticeship in partnership with Capel Manor College. The Trees and Timber (level 2) apprenticeship requires attendance equivalent to 1 day per week at Capel Manor College (Enfield). We especially encourage applications from women and individuals with a BAME background. For further information about Epping Forest you can visit our website www.cityoflondon.gov.uk/eppingforest The closing date for returned applications is 12 noon, 3 August 2012.
