IMPORTANT:  This Advertiser has requested that applicants MUST be National Residents / Valid Work Permit-holders.  Other applicants need not apply.

 

Responsibilities:
  • Teaching – 10%
    • Interact with Guests.
  • Program/Project Development – 35%
    • Develop educational and support materials for resort education programs as necessary.
    • Work on computer projects as directed by the Leadership Team. This includes Internet research, documentation of new information and creating Microsoft PowerPoint presentations.
  • Supervision/Program Coordination – 55%
    • Daily coordination of the African Cultural Representative Team.
    • Work with other lines of business to create a seamless Guest experience.
Required Qualifications:
You must meet the required qualifications in order to apply for the internship.
  • Junior, senior or recent college graduate
  • Life or Environmental Sciences, Education, Biology, Marine Science, Zoology, Recreation or related majors
  • Minimum grade point average of 2.0
  • Experience working with the public in a formal or informal learning setting
  • Public speaking experience
  • Excellent writing skills
  • Computer proficiency in Microsoft Office programs
  • MUST have participated in an Animal Programs Professional Internship prior to applying
