RSPCA Animal Life Editor - maternity cover – 9 months We are looking for an experienced editor to join the Publications & Brand team to produce our vibrant quarterly magazine, animal life, which is sent out to c. 450,000 RSPCA supporters. The role will involve writing about all elements of RSPCA work, from rescues and rehomings, to news and campaign updates and features ranging from pet advice to endangered wildlife. The successful candidate will need to be educated to degree standard and be NCTJ (National Council for the Training of Journalists) qualified. Experience as a journalist is required as you must be capable of managing the whole magazine production process, from creating flat plans, commissioning contributors, to writing your own copy and proofing all pages. If you are an excellent writer who works well to deadlines and who has a great eye for detail, we can offer a lively working environment and a range of exciting writing projects.
