Salary: £30,500 per annum - 9 months fixed term contract
We are looking for an experienced editor to join the Publications & Brand team to produce our vibrant quarterly magazine, animal life, which has a circulation of c. 90,000 RSPCA supporters. The role will involve writing about the wide variety of Society work, from rescues and rehomings, to news and campaign updates and features ranging from pet advice to endangered wildlife. The successful candidate will need to be educated to degree standard or equivalent and be National Council for the Training of Journalists (NCTJ) qualified. Substantial experience as a journalist is required combined with experience of managing the whole magazine production process, from creating flat plans, commissioning contributors, to writing your own copy and proofing all pages.
