Allowances: 10% unsocial hours premium
Hours: 21 hours per week
The RSPCA, the World’s largest and oldest animal welfare organisation, is looking for an Animal Care Assistant to join the team at Block Fen Animal Centre.
The main responsibilities of the post include:
- Providing day to day care of a range of domestic animals
- Establishing good customer relations
- Maintaining administration procedures
- Required to work 21 hours per week on a rota system, which will include both weekends and bank holidays
The successful applicant should have:
- Some experience of working with domestic animals
- Experience of working with general public
- Good communication skills and enjoy working as part of a team
- Living within the vicinity of the Centre would be advantageous
