Description
The Renewable Origination team is responsible for managing, optimizing and growing the Renewable Energy Certificate (REC) book of business for Iberdrola Renewables.  The Renewable Origination Analyst will support the team in a variety of functions that include facilitating the transaction process and flow; analysis of markets and opportunities; and assisting in development of transactions and strategies.
  • Monitor and validate REC Position in Zainet (ZN) and assist in maintenance of position in coordination with Asset Management.
  • Analyze regional positions and coordinate optimization strategies with Director, Renewable Origination and Manager Environmental Markets.
  • Manage REC transaction process and flow including trade entry, coordination with Contracts, Settlements, Accounting and Asset Management .
  • Green-e Audit Support in coordination with Asset Management.
  • Coordinate of REC Tracking System registrations and information requirements.
  • Develop and maintain periodic reports/updates on REC business.
  • Assist in preparation of RFP responses; and transaction development support.

 

Qualifications
 
  • Bachelor's Degree and a minimum of 1 year experience in a related field or the equivalent combination of education and experience.  
  • Demonstrated analytical and evaluation skills to define critical tasks, establish sequence of events, identify individuals/teams, timelines and outcomes and to support position and inventory management.   
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to facilitate team efforts and coordinate with customers.
  • Proficient with Excel, Word, Outlook and Powerpoint
Preference may be given to candidates with the following:
  • Wind energy industry or REC business experience.  
  •  Knowledge or proficiency with ZaiNet.
