Position Description
Sungevity’s Corporate Development group is responsible for creating strategic partnerships to help the company sell, procure and install solar systems for our customers nationwide. Building on our flagship channel partnership with Lowe’s, Sungevity is seeking to put in place deep strategic marketing relationships with leading brands in a range of industries, from retailers to electric vehicles to a dozen others.
Responsibilities:
The Corporate Development Analyst will be the central analytical engine for the Corporate Development team, working closely with the Senior Directors and the head of the group, a Sungevity co-founder. The Analyst will help determine channel strategy, select and research potential partners, develop materials for the sales process and play a central role in supporting channel partnership negotiations. As the only dedicated analyst in the group, the role will be deeply involved in Sungevity’s most important strategic relationships and work closely every day with senior management.
Qualifications:
The ideal Analyst combines analytical smarts, presentation skills and the ability to form strong interpersonal relationships internally and externally.
- Ability to think strategically about potential partners in a range of industries
- Research skills
- Presentation skills, both preparing and delivering
- Comfort working closely with counterparties in a negotiation
- Experience in management consulting would be a natural fit
- Knowledge of the solar industry is a plus
- Exceptionally strong under graduate performance required, MBA preferred
