Pacific Environment seeks an energetic Alaska Program Associate with a demonstrated passion for the environment and social justice. The Alaska Program Associate is part of a core team who will be responsible for working with the Alaska Program Co-Directors to campaign to prevent marine pollution in Alaska, including providing professional and timely input and intervention into offshore oil and gas issues, promoting shipping safety, monitoring issues around coal development in the Arctic, bolstering outreach to and cooperation with indigenous communities around the North Pacific and Arctic. This position will report to the Alaska Program Co-Directors and will be based in the Anchorage area.
