Introduction

Due to our clients continued growth of their air quality consultancy business, there is an exciting opportunity for an Air Quality Consultant to join our clients office in Lancashire.

Experience of Air Quality Assessments and Dispersion modelling

The Job

Our client are a leading environmental consultancy with over 150 staff positioned in 14 offices throughout the UK working on a wide range of projects in an international market place.

The Air Quality Consultant will join a busy and diverse team where projects range from small, single source dispersion modelling studies, through complex, multi-source industrial impact assessments to air quality impact assessments of major residential developments.

The successful candidate will be Degree/MSc qualified in a relevant environmental discipline and have experience of dispersion modelling of roads and point sources. Our client are looking for an ambitious individual who can provide both technical and business input to colleagues in the Air Quality team and other environmental teams.

Duties:

  • Undertaking of Air Quality Assessments.
  • Dispersion modelling using ADMS or AERMOD
  • Data analysis and interpretation.
  • Preparation of factual and interpretative reports.
  • Management of individual projects.
  • Production of quotes and tenders.
  • Development of client relationships.

Requirements:

  • Atmospheric science or environmental based degree.
  • Excellent written and communication skills.
  • Proficient in data analysis and interpretation.
  • Previous air quality consultancy experience.
  • Able to manage own projects from initial proposal to final invoice.
  • Experience of business development/marketing would be advantageous.
