Outstanding Opportunity for an Air Quality Consultant

Salary Range £20,008 progressing to £22,231

As a result of business growth we require an Air Quality Consultant to join our EIA and Planning Team where much of the work relates to the land development, waste and manufacturing industries.
The posts will suit candidates who are client focussed and looking for an opportunity to develop their consultancy career in a friendly, respected and expanding multi-disciplinary company.

The Roles:
The successful candidate will be part of our team working from either our Wolverhampton or Leeds offices (negotiable). You will apply your expertise to a diverse and ever changing range of projects as well as helping to win new work.
 
Purpose:

To undertake air dispersion modelling studies and to contribute to wider air quality consultancy activities in a fast moving, client focused commercial environment, where much of the work relates to the waste, agriculture and manufacturing industries.

The successful candidate will join a team of multi-disciplinary professionals who work closely together to deliver profitable projects with a strong focus on Town & Country Planning, Environmental Impact Assessment and Environmental Permitting.

Key responsibilities:

1. Carry out air dispersion modeling studies using standard modelling packages (e.g. ADMS Roads, ADMS and DMRB), interpret results and write reports.
2. Undertake site sampling and monitoring activities, primarily in relation to air, odour and bioaerosol emissions.
3. Assist in the preparation of air quality assessments and monitoring reports `
4. Consult with clients, third parties and regulators.
5. Carry out desk studies and data analysis.
6. Take responsibility for maintenance and availability of the team’s bioaerosol and odour sampling equipment (dependent on location).
7. Support colleagues in the winning of new business through the preparation of quotes, sales material, and market research.
8. Contribute to repeat business with existing clients through provision of a high quality professional service and by client relationship building.

9. Role will require flexible working with regard to type of work, time and location. Ability and willingness to travel will be a key requirement.
