Description

ERM seeks a motivated Air Quality and Climate Change Partner, with significant consulting experience and client relationships in the Oil & Gas sector, to grow our air quality services business in Denver, CO/Ft. Collins. This is a partner-track/partner-level opportunity for a senior professional looking to advance their career to the next level with a global environmental leader. As a senior leader, you will be fully accountable for successfully selling and consulting on air quality projects to build a sustained growing business across the Rocky Mountain region, Western U.S., and nationally.

 RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Develop and implement strategy, provide leadership, and deliver financial results to expand ERM's air quality and climate change practice and client base in Denver, particularly in the Upstream Oil & Gas sector. Serve as a key member of the “core” practice team to drive double-digit profitable growth of ERM’s air quality services business across North America.
  • As a senior “seller/doer,” personally win $500,000 to $1 million in new air and GHG consulting services annually. Identify and develop new opportunities, prepare effective technical proposals, and take active leadership role in the development of new business with new and existing clients.
  • Develop and manage strategic air permitting and compliance programs for a variety of industrial clients with complex technical/regulatory issues, including GHG. Work closely and develop strong client relationships to understand specific processes and develop a permitting and compliance strategy to help clients maintain maximum operating flexibility. Achieve client’s expectations for scope, budget, schedule, and quality.
  • Mentor junior and mid-level staff in the proper planning and execution of air quality projects, and in directing or conducting independent technical reviews of deliverable work products.
  • Support the general growth and development of ERM’s international air quality and climate change services. Develop a working understanding of ERM’s other consulting practice areas and actively support cross-selling other services to existing clients.

 REQUIREMENTS:

  • BS in engineering (chemical, mechanical, environmental) or related degree; MS and PE preferred.
  • 15+ years of solid air quality consulting experience, with a high degree of technical competence in Title V, PSD, NSR, BACT, MACT, and experience with new GHG reporting requirements.
  • Proven track record in developing and implementing successful business growth strategies in the Rocky Mountain region.
  • Consistent "seller/doer" track record of delivering annual sales of at least $500,000 (net revenue).
  • Demonstrated leadership ability to build, coach, and mentor collaborative teams.
  • Excellent communication (written/verbal), strategic thinking, negotiation, presentation, and “people” skills.
  • Well established reputation and recognized technical expertise by the marketplace.
